Funeral Service Education Housing & Employment Information

Worsham College does not provide on-campus housing, however, the College does offer assistance in locating suitable living facilities in three categories:

Funeral Homes

Many out-of-state students work and live in local funeral homes in an effort to gain valuable experience, save on living costs, and earn a nominal wage. Worsham College students have set a high standard of performance in the past and are eagerly sought by area employers.

Some students elect to live in apartments affording the student more personal time attending the College. The Registrar's Office maintains a list of students interested in sharing apartments.

Private Homes

The Center of Concern is an agency that pairs Worsham College Students with clients in Wheeling and neighboring townships who have rooms for rent in their homes, complete with kitchen privileges and laundry facilities. This option offers the student the personal freedom of an apartment at a lower cost.

If any questions have not been answered, please contact the College at 847.808.8444 or send an email to us at

The Students Right to Know
